We have made it another year and are just shy of our 2021-2022 MCSA Annual Election. As times have changed with the recent pandemic, so have our processes. Moving forward with our elections, we will continue to process votes electronically. With this said, we will be using a new, secure electronic election service this year. The service, Election Runner, is a secure, cloud-based election service allowing member agencies to cast their vote in our election regardless of attendance at our annual meeting.
To allow for a secure and seamless process, each agency is asked to designate their agencies’ voting party who will be responsible for casting their agencies’ vote on the morning of June 16, 2021. Voting in our election will open at 8:00 AM EST on June 16, 2021 and close at 11:00 AM EST the same day. Results will be announced promptly following the close of our election. Please click the link and designate your agencies voting person no later than 72 hours prior to June 16, 2021. The designated party will receive an email from Election Runner containing a Voter ID and Voter Key along with a secure link to the ballot no later than 24 hours prior to the election; however, the ballot will not be live for votes to be cast until 8:00 AM on June 16. If your agency designates a party to cast a vote and they do not receive an email from Election Runner by the morning of June 15, 2021, please first have that party check their SPAM/JUNK folder for the email and then immediately contact president@ma911.org so we can correct this error and ensure your agency has the opportunity to cast their vote.
