Dispatcher Mental Health & Wellness in the NG911 Environment. The Natick Police Department will host this course on Monday, October 19, 2026 from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The cost of the course is $259. This course educates public safety telecommunicators on the unique mental health and wellness challenges associated with emergency communications work and the evolving NextGen911 environment. Topics include types of stress in the comm center, the effect stress and trauma have on the body, along with burnout, culture and stigma. Topics also include stress management techniques, peer support and professional resources. This course is approved for continuing education and satisfies the behavioral health requirement.
