Join NEMLEC CISM for a wellness event featuring Travis Howze, local support resources, & meaningful conversations on wellness and resiliency.
The NEMLEC Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team is proud to host this wellness event dedicated to bringing together first responders, dispatchers, corrections personnel, active duty and former military members, and the spouses or partners of all attendees for an honest and meaningful discussion about the realities of service, stress, and recovery.
This event is designed to create opportunities for attendees to engage with wellness and support resources from across the region while strengthening the relationships that help sustain those who serve our communities every day. Representatives from a variety of local organizations and service providers will be available through resource tables offering information, guidance, and support for mental wellness, peer support, family services, and more.
We are also honored to welcome Travis Howze as our keynote speaker, presenting his impactful seminar, Post Traumatic Purpose — an empowering discussion on leadership, mental wellness, resilience, and finding purpose through adversity.
Through shared experiences, meaningful dialogue, and access to valuable local resources, the NEMLEC CISM Team hopes to strengthen resilience, reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and remind attendees that support is always available — both on and off duty.
